About Bernt Solvoll
Bernt Solvoll, with former professions as a plumber and a director of cultural affairs & recreation, now a full time musician and log house craftsman, entered the 1970th as a hopeful, 15 year old boy with a voice and an acoustic guitar. Through the decade he was influenced by artists like James Taylor, Neil Young and John Denver and bands like Beatles and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, in addition to the Norwegian folk singers at that time.
Besides singing others, he has always written and performed his own songs, both in Norwegian and English, live, on albums and in radio and television.
Today, a generation later, the voice and the acoustic guitar still are his instruments and his songs still his expression.
